    Mental Capacity Act (MCA)

     

    Welcome to the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) virtual learning page. 

    This training is for staff working within Adult Social Care: the pre-requisite for attendance on this training is that learners have completed the Mental Capacity Awareness – Level 1 Awareness eLearning within the past 3 years.

    The aim of this course  is to enable those working in Adult Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services to develop their skills in applying the Mental Capacity Act 2005 effectively to assess mental capacity and make best interest decisions by applying law, and professional judgement in practice.
