The Social Care Academy is committed to providing quality learning for the Adult Social Care Sector in the East Riding. The Academy recognises that people learn in different ways and flexibility in the range and type of topics, along with delivery methods is critical in to meet the needs of modern care services in the 21st century.
Historically learning was solely delivered through face-to-face training courses. The Academy continues to provide face-to-face courses and events, but we have extended provision in the form of; online resources, blended learning, eLearning, Self-Study Guide and Virtual Classroom sessions.
The ASC LeadER Digitial Learning and Resource Service is a key part of the Academy's provision, as it:
- Assists in facilitating access to the digital learning and resource.
- Acts as a central point to promote information on courses and events available.
- Provides an online eBooking form for us by Independent Care Sector Providers to book a place on a scheduled course or event.
