      • Equip you with essential knowledge, skills and resources to deliver medication management courses in your own workplace, in line with local, national and legal requirements and the joint ERYC and ERY CCG (now East Riding Place) medication policy.


      LEARNING OUTCOMES

      By the end of this course, you will be able to:

      • Explain the importance of identifying learner need
      • Discuss how to manage classroom environments
      • Understand the role of learning resources and supporting materials
      • Explain the importance of assessment when learning
      • Identify key areas relating to Medication Management Legislation and policies
      • Demonstrate understanding of roles and responsibilities in Medication Management
      • Discuss ordering, storing, recording, transferring and disposal of medicines
      • List the 7 rights of medication administration
      • Understand medication errors and the actions to take
